When should you work out again? Experts usually recommend 2 days between full-body workouts and 1 day between split body workouts. On an upper/lower-body split, you should also take a full day off after 2 days of training. If you're new to lifting, this gets confusing fast. Fear not! Dr. Muscle now tells you how long you should recover on the new home and workout summary pages. For recovery tips customized to you, check out the Learn tab (bottom bar).
